Sažetak
Low density explosives, due to their detonation and blasting properties are appropriate choice to be used in urban areas, at short distances from structures. By decreasing the impact share in detonation energy transferred to rock mass, the intensity of seismic influence could be reduced. The emulsion matrix based explosive mixtures, sensitized by the materials with significantly lower density have reached favourable properties determined by laboratory scale tests. Based on the laboratory test results, velocity of detonation and initiation sensibility measured on larger diameter samples are determined in this paper.
