Sažetak
The launching and development of social networking sites, coupled with a rapid increase in the number of their users, was recognized as significant by libraries. The experience of the National and University Library in Zagreb proves that active communication between users and the library creates added value in providing library services, while new possibilities and the value of using social networks directly contribute to a better visibility of the Library and cultural heritage in the digital environment.
