Sažetak
This paper investigates the legal protection of whistleblowers in the Republic of Croatia. The first part of the paper presents an in-depth analysis of the legal framework (including both international and national sources of law), whereas the second part discusses settled case- law of national courts and of the European Court of Human Rights. In conclusion the authors tackle the specific issue of whistleblowers within the public sector. To this end they analyse the results of a recently conducted study investigating the perception of whistleblowers in the public sector.
