Sažetak
The presentation started with several facts about agrometeorology in Croatia. Agrometeorological Department exist 66 years (last 13 years in the frame Meteoeological Research and Development Division). The major activities in the Agrometeorological Department are agrometeorological, phenological and wildfire researches. Agrometeorological forecast is a part of daily activities of the department and it is regularly broadcasted as a part of an agricultural or morning programme on TV and radio. Moreover, agrometeorological bulletin is regularly publish and accessible through http://meteo.hr (in Croatian). The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWS) products are regularly used in preparation of meteograms for soil temperature and moisture, evaporation and other parameters 9 days in advance. Furthermore, some results of research activities on heath stress, Huglin index, grapevine phenology and crop modelling were presented. Finally, results from drought forecasting based on SPI were presented.
