Sažetak
The informatisation process of Split Airport passenger, baggage, cargo and aircraft handling services started seven years ago. The basic objective was the development and the implementation of computerised programs at all workplaces within the Ground Handling. The paper gives an analysis of all advantages of the implemantation of those computerised programs which were planned and developed as separate modules, but functioning as a unique, fully integrated system (as a whole) and sets guidelines for the implementation of Information Technologies at other Croatian airports, and at other, similar sized airports in the world.
