Sažetak
The locality Ad basilicas pictas is a very important ancient, early Christian and medieval site in the area between the Palace of Diocletian and Salona. Revision-protection excavation, under the condicion of excavating to the marly soil, lasted until May 1977. In spite of devastation, significant knowledge was gained as the basis for the general chronological order of architectonic phases. An early Christian basilical complex with a baptisery from the fifth or sixt century was built on the foundations of early antique layer. The finds of ceramic and glass fragments ascertain the continuity of life at the locality from the 1st to the 7th century.
