Sažetak
Carbon steels and low alloy steels are unsuitable for deep and sour gas and oil wells because of their high corrosion rate. To find a solution to this problem, different alloys were used, expecially highly alloyed materials. Among these highly alloyed materials duplex stainless steels have an important role. The aim of this work is to present a review into the making, the development, as well as the relationship between metallurgical factors and corrosion resistance of duplex stainless steels.
