Sažetak
To demonstrate the application of the validated calcination and combustion models for different solid fuels inside of the commercial CFD software AVL FIRE, a complex three dimensional geometry of an industrial cement calciner was simulated. The results show some interesting features of the flow, which help to understand the operating conditions of the simulated calciner.
