Sažetak
In the knowledge society of the 21 Century project approach to educational design enables effective way for designing or redesigning the educational system. Competences are one of the key element and precondition for success on the labor market and surviving. Labor market for four or eight years will claim new competences. Educational system must prepare today’s students for the new future competences. This paper presents a novel approach to perform educational design or redesign to existing programs based on the project principles and pedagogical thought of different pedagogical circles. Effective theoretical algorithm for designing process developed through this theoretical research should enable design and permanent redesign of the educational system in accordance with project principle, from final goal backward through all levels of whole educational pyramid and its components. It can be useful for planning education, for the curricula and training process as well. Theoretical algorithm is assumption for the new approach which will be tested with empirical research through upcoming educational reform.
