Sažetak
The author considers the consequences of the possible integration of Central and Eastern European countries in the common agricultural policy of the European Union and the potential impact of the implemented instrument measures on agriculture in these countries. Analysis is focusing at the global environment (in the context of the conclusions of the Uruguay Round of GATT on agricultural products seeking the reduction of customs duties between Member States and the prohibition of non-tariff protection which should ensure that international trade in agricultural products in developing countries functioning in safer conditions) and the reform of the common agricultural policy ( CAP) within the European Union (as a response to the crisis of the budget).
