Sažetak
The aim of the paper is to indicate legal isssue concering the qouality of sustainable tourism development policy. Iz gives analysis of genaral policy for sustainable and environment-friendly tourism, particulary on coastal areas. The paper deals with main regulations of United Nations, the European Union, the Council of Europe, and Croatia, taking into account the wording of the Stabilisazion and association agreement with the European Union. The need of devising legal framework of an international principle is emphasized and an outlook of implementation of rules on national, local and regional level is pointed out.
