Sažetak
The site Šandalja which is located 4 km away from the town of Pula (Istria, Croatia), is known not only from the chopper and rich fauna of large mammals dated to the Late Early Pleistocene or perhaps to the Middle Pleistocene found in bone breccias (Šandalja 1 and Šandalja 2) but also for the Late Pleistocene faunal assemblages and the Upper Paleolithic industries originating from the different levels of the typical cave sediments (Šandalja 2).
