Sažetak
The painting in oil on wood, representing The Agony in the Garden that makes part of the collection of the Abbatial Treasury in Korčula is a copy of the composition that Ludovico Carracci repeated at least three times in oil on copper, during the second half of the first decade of the 17th century. Judging from its exactness, precision and colours, the painting from Korčula was executed in Ludovico Carracci workshop immediately after his autographs and was intended, as its models, for private devotion. It is not known how the painting arrived to Korčula, although it was documented on the altar dedicated to the Holy Trinity in 1736. It might had been donated by the bishop Teodoro Diedo who resided there from 1611 to 1625.
