Sažetak
In this paper I am going to explain how a refrain is used in preaching.I start with description of using a refrain in Church, especially in the Bible. The connection with the today’s preaching is the fact that the refrain can be found in the African-American preaching. The main part of this paper consists of the characteristics of the Refrain. In that part I will explain the attitudes of the refrain, disharmony in preaching with the refrain, four short terms that the refrain has to fulfill and the metaphor. The last part of the paper is the practical one – I will evaluate the preaching with the refrain in a concrete sermon and give out the results.
