Sažetak
Third gender' refers to the alleged homosexual Gypsy musicians in Kosovo. They transfered music sung indoors by women to the frame drum accompaniment to the public scene, where it is performed in a modified form by male singers to the accompaniment of amplified ensembles. In the early 1990s this new genre became the principal Gypsy genre in Kosovo, appreciated particularly by the women.
