For example, for 2300 year on the islands of Hvar and Vis people speak about the beautiful Illyrian Queen Teuta, and there is a living tradition that the origins of anthropomonims Škare, Vatavuk and Strizirep Illyrian. There is a variety of tradition aound the Emperion Diokletian And his daughter Valeria, while Split patron St. Dujam, St. Anastazy and St. Arnir exit in tales in oral communication. In the area of today's Kistanje, catacombs rae found beneath the monastery, Krka which, according to a legend, visited St. Paul while spreading Christianity alon the Adriatic Coast. On the island of Mljet, in turn, today poisonous snakes are long gone, but acording to a legend, St. Paul was shopwercked and attacked by the poisonous snakes wich thanks to God's providence became no-poisonous.
