Sažetak
Analysis of variance is one of the most frequently used statistical methods for analysing experimental data in agricultural researches. Accuracy of results obtained by ANOVA is considerably dependent on assumptions violation. Two classes of assumptions (validity and distributional assumptions) should be considered before ANOVA implementation. Three main assumptions should be taken in consideration in group of distributional assumptions: (i) the normality of the distribution of the sampled data, (ii) homogeneity of variance among the groups being compared (homoscedasticity) and (iii) independence of observations within and between samples. These assumptions are known as parametric assumptions also, and only they will be considered in this work. The aim of this paper is to point out importance of detecting these violations, describe methods for their detection and to suggest possible solutions in the case when one or more of these assumptions are violated.
