Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to determine economic value of farmyard manure. Manure contains the nutrients that are necessary for plants growing, and organic matter especially important for maintaining fertility of the soil. It is usually underestimated and not often used when compared with mineral fertilizer. Application of the farmyard manure affects the higher sustainability of the farm. Manure is a by-product which does not have well known market values. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate the value of calculating its relative purchase price or cost of replacement. The estimation is based on the determination of the quantity and value of basic nutrients in the farmyard manure and mineral fertilizers.
