Sažetak
This paper is based on an ethnological filed research conducted around the Bay of Kotor (Montenegro), on the Vrmac peninsula. The aim was to find out to what extent changs in political borders from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 21st century were important for migration mobility, to explore the numerous political and economic migrations resulted in changes to the ethnic and confessional composition of the population, and to detect “Others” on the local, regional, ethnic, and national levels.
