Sažetak
The present paper aims to investigate the occurrence of Croatian proverbs in digital media, namely the works included in the Croatian national corpus. The research is only the beginning of a wider research of the occurrence of Croatian proverbs and anti- proverbs in speaking and writing. The goal of the research is to establish, based on the usage of proverbs in the corpus, which are the most frequently used proverbs, in which form do they occur, are there also some proverb alternations used as well, and to compare the findings with the proverbs appearing in primary school textbooks. The collected data will hopefully provide valuable information to establishing the Croatian paremiological minimum
