Sažetak
The paper deals with an interpretative upgrade to the existent scientific realizations about the personage and opus of Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer while providing for a contemporary, computer-assisted research and critical insight in the correspondent materials from the Anglo- American and Macedonian sources and/or Croatian funds in the English language, less known heretofore. The paper’s intention would be to publicize a text on an interdisciplinary viewpoint on Bishop Strossmayer’s undisputable theological, Maecenas-like, political, and educative role in Croatia, Macedonia, and beyond in the light of the 19th-century Croatian cultural renaissance, whose one of the promoters he was in the Habsburg Monarchy.
