Sažetak
Strategic city planning connects many administrative and professional disciplines including economic development, human resources, environment protection, natural resources management, energetics, housing, traffic, etc. For most of these activities, spatial data is essential tool for analysis, planning, implementation and monitoring. Technological and methodological trends and changes in geospatial science bring new challenges and opportunities for strategic city planning. Some experiences in usage of spatial information in strategic city planning of the City of Zagreb will be presented.
