Sažetak
The paper demonstrates changes that the EU legislation has brought into the Croatian legal system with respect to child abduction. The paper presents the jurisdictional issue, then the obligation to hear the child, to hear the applicant and to assess the security arrangements. After that, the possibility of state liability due to overstepping time limits is assessed. Lastly, the biggest changes to the system are elaborated – the obligation to transmit the case and the recognition and enforcement procedure.
