Sažetak
Retail supply chain is concered with delivery of goods and services to the final customer or consumer. Recent technological advances have made significant changes to the physical organization of retail supply chain in recent decade.At the same time, due to the tehnological change, consumers are becoming more demanding regarding quality and price of products delivered, timeliness of delivery, and the level of services offered durng the fulfillment process. On the other hand, retail supply chains are getting more complex due to the trend of retail internationalization. In this paper we will analyze the changes and potential of tehnologies such as quick response codes, radio frequency identification and near fiel communication networking, automated storage and retrieval systems, agent-based logistics, delivery drone systems, etc. The goal of this paper is to determine the trends in implementations of these technlogies and to propose classification on current application areas. This will provide additional insight in understanding future requirements and trends in retail supply chains.
