Sažetak
Social economy is recognized as a sector that should play significant role in sustainable development of South East Europe and its economies. Social economy initiatives pursue goals beyond financial profit using that profit to produce goods and services for their members and/or for the well-being of a community. This study aims to offer a general overview of the social economy sector in the South East Europe region and to identify opportunities for its development. It provides overall regional outlook on this topic, as well as specific national insights with all local particularities.
