Sažetak
This paper deals with the political position of Kingdom of Croatia-Dalmatia (a constitutive part of the Kingdom of Hungary-Croatia since the beginning of the twelfth century) during the succession crisis, which followed the death of King Louis I of Hungary. In the paper, the main target will be the analysis of those individuals who held different high positions of royal deputies in Croatia-Dalmatia, for both of the claimant sides (Queen Mary and Sigismund of Luxemburg on the one side, and the Neapolitan branch of the Angevins, on the other). Among them, there will be discussion of different positions (bans, vicars, admirals, etc.) held by such individuals, and prosopographic analysis of their origin, social status and political careers.
