Sažetak
Among 26 patients with Chron´s disease (CD) without respiratory symptoms and with normal chest X ray film, pulmonary function was tested ; FVC, FEV1, PEF, ERV, MMV, RV, and DLCO (single breath method). Compared with referent values in 30 controled subjects only doffusing capacity for CO was significantly reduced in 12 patients (46%) with CD (mean value 84, 3 +/- 28, 4).Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) was done in seven patients with decreased DLCO.There was evidence of lymphocyte alveolitis (more than 18% of lymphocyte in BAL) ins ix patients. Transbronchial biopsy done i 4 patients showed thickened alveolar septa and mononuclear infiltration. These dana suggest interstitial pulmonary involvement in significant number of patients with CD and without respiratory symptoms.
