Sažetak
Marked hypoxia has been often observed in the northern Adriatic (NA) bottom layers from mid-summer to mid-autumn with highly variable extensions and durations. Long-term data series (1972-2012) along with freshwater influence and circulation pattern are analyzed. Oxygenation of bottom waters during period August-November of the last two decades has increased.
