Sažetak
Laser devices have gained in importance since the eighties and they are often claimed to be omni-use instruments. Though many applications turned out to be almost impracticable, an unaltered interest in laser technology has remained to date. The broad spectrum of applications for the diode laser means that it is now the most widely used device in laser dentistry. Diode lasers offer an interesting – but not unlimited – field of application in modern dentistry. HF Laser, the new instrument in the field of soft tissue surgery will be presented. Amazing composition of high frequency (HF), diode laser and therapeutic laser (LLLT/aPDT) in the single instrument is intriguing for the clinician. Through a series of clinical cases will be present simultaneously using of all three instruments in the field of an indication. The presented cases include surgery of the soft tissues of the oral cavity (fibroepithelial polyp, inflammatory papillary hyperplasia of the palate, epulis fissuratum, granuloma gigantocellulare) and the area of periimplant diseases (treatment of periimplantitis with open and closed technique).
