Sažetak
There are many benefits of eHealth systems as an effective complement to routine clinical care [5]. Once the value of benefits begins to cover investment costs, the net benefit expands and becomes substantial. This is an important motivation for all governments to justify eGovernment/eHealth implementation strategies. Barriers such as lack of awareness of the need for interoperable systems and services often introduce delays in the introduction of the exchange of medical information and can contribute to market failure. Taking into account the vision of an efficient eHealth framework, following sections discuss the challenges for implementation of such systems and provide directions that have been identified and proven to enable eHealth solutions to be true eGovernment Interoperability showcase.
