Sažetak
Recycling of clay bricks and roof tiles present interesting possibilities for responsible waste disposal. This paper investigates selection of optimal mixture for recycled precast concrete floor blocks with crushed clay brick and roof tiles as an aggregate. Comprehensive experimental investigation was carried out and acceptable concrete mixtures were selected based on experimental results. Selection of optimal mixtures was made by considering mixtures obtained experimentally, according to conditions shown in HRN EN 15037- 2:2009. Precast concrete blocks were made and their properties were experimentally tested. Based on experimental investigation it is possible to conclude that it is possible to produce precast concrete floor blocks with 50% replacement of fine and 75% of coarse natural aggregate with crushed clay bricks and roof tiles
