Sažetak
Some measurement and signal and data processing techniques for cavitation diagnosis are presented, and a report on the comparison of vibro-acoustical sensors is given. The spectrum normalisation technique is tested, under the term empirical modelling illustrations are given of diagnostic techniques based on various noise descriptors, some of them being introduced here for the first time, and a rationale for the rotor-stator decomposition technique, aiming at distinguishing between different turbine elements, is briefly discussed.
The work is based on the experiments on three turbines, a 60 MW Kaplan, a 6 MW Francis, and a 6 kW S-tube turbine.
