Sažetak
In development of new timber-glass and timber- steel composite structural systems, the analysis of joints occurred as a problem. Behavior of such joints is more complex and the modeling of such joints is more complicated and challenging. Completely new approaches for calculation are needed. This paper presents the simulation of the behavior of a joint between wooden structural elements and vertically loaded infill glass panel as well as the behavior of a wooden joint made with glued in steel rods. Glass and steel rods are glued with epoxy adhesive in the timber element. Problem is how to define the contact surface between the adhesive, wood and glass as well as between adhesive, wood and steel rods. In this paper, values for glass failure strength and values for maximum pull- out strength of steel rod glued in the laminated timber obtained by laboratory tests will be compared with ones obtained by ANSYS.
