Sažetak
The construction sector in Croatia was hit hard over the past years, with a decline over 40 % since 2008. Many construction projects were slowed down or completely halted. Despite overall downturn of the sector, there are three outstanding infrastructure projects currently under way: (1) new passenger terminal of Zagreb airport, (2) the bridge from Trogir to Ciovo island, and (3) the bridge to Peljesac peninsula. Zagreb terminal and Ciovo bridge are currently under construction while the Peljesac bridge project has been redesigned and is intended to be applied to EU funds.
