Sažetak
A part of the scaphopod specimens Fissidentalium badense (PARTSCH in HÖRNES) found in Badenian sediments from the south and southwestern margin of the Pannonian Basin System (Central Paratethys) are housed within the collections of the Natural History Museum Belgrade and the Croatian Natural History Museum in Zagreb. Specimens from these collections were studied and revised. In addition, we present a synthesis of geographic distribution of the Badenian Fissidentalium badense (PARTSCH in HÖRNES) from the sites located in Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The site yielding largest number of the specimens is Višnjica, close to Belgrade (Serbia). Several specimens were found in the Vilin potok, close to Loznica, Serbia. In Croatia, several specimens were collected in the area of Glinsko Pokuplje, Vrhovčak and in the area of Mt. Medvednica ; in Bosnia and Herzegovina, one specimen was collected in Bogutovo Selo, near Ugljevik. This paper presents paleontological descriptions of Fissidentalium badense (PARTSCH in HÖRNES) and its significance for the Badenian biostratigraphy of the south and southwestern part of the Pannonian Basin System (Central Paratethys).
