Sažetak
Positive attitudes of secondary school teachers toward the inclusive education are important presumption of successful education of students with difficulties. The research goal was to examine views of teachers, principals and the expert team in secondary schools toward the inclusive education of hearing and/or speech impaired students integrated into secondary regular schools. We were especially interested in expectations of teachers in regard to primary school education and the support they need in the education process. The part of the research is related to the training of teachers, expert associates and principals by which additional knowledge on difficulties and the application of methodic and didactic adjustment in educational process is acquired. Hypotheses The main hypothesis is: H1 – attitudes of teachers, principals and the expert team in secondary schools toward education of hearing and/or speech impaired students in their schools are positive • Expectations in regard to primary school education are positive • Secondary schools have the support they need in education process Methods/Methodology The sample consisted of 10 principals, 15 expert associates and 200 secondary school teachers. The examination was carried out by use of the Questionnaire for examining the views of educators in secondary schools towards the inclusive secondary schools education. It was anonymous examination carried out during 2014 and by the beginning of 2015 in a written form and organized by the SUVAG Polyclinic. The data processing was done by the application of SPPS statistics. The analysis was carried out at the level of descriptive statistics and the differences between the groups of examinees in relation to some variables are identified by the one-way analysis of variance and by the discriminative method. Expected outcomes/results The results of the research give us more comprehensive picture on attitudes of various participants in the education of hearing and/or speech impaired students in regular secondary schools and help in the creation of preparation of students for the inclusive education in more qualitative manner as well as the conditions for easier realization of their individual potentials.
