Sažetak
This lecture has reported the VHS and IHN outbreaks in Croatia during 2013-2014. The results of all applied diagnostic methods, along with the epidemiological survey were presented. The special emphasis has been given to the proposed routes of virus transmission and udertaken measures. As a supporting epidemiological methodology for virus tracing purposes, the preliminary results of the phylogenetic analysis of isolated VHS/IHN strains were given.
