Sažetak
The chapter outlines the goals of prisoner- taking, the methods used by captors to crush prisoners' resistance, and finally, possible effects of inprisonment on indivisuals. Special attention is given to soldiers' preparation for a highly stressful situation of the kind. Finally then, the diserable behaviour patterns are described, which are based on the expiriences of ex-prisoners, particularly veterans of the Homeland war, as the patterns helped them cope with the prisoner situation.
