Sažetak
The acquisition of adjectives in Croatian is discussed in this chapter. According to the working hypotheses of the book, morphological features of adjectives in Croatian idicate the noun-like forms of early adjectives in child speech. However, some important differences are discussed: semantic differences (adjectives point to the features of objects, not the objects and, most importantly, adjectives are aquired with the help of semantic oppositions such as good-bad, big-small).
