Sažetak
A need for continuous enhancement of quality, reduction of costs and delivery time encourage enterprises to perform a continuous improvement of business processes which is a major challenge in the business management in modern, highly competitive markets. Therefore, a lot of investments are allocated to achieve the lean enterprise. Cost reduction is necessary due to the fact that the competitive sales prices are almost fixed, so there is a need for continuous improvement by applying effective lean methodology tools. The main question in process of the lean enterprise achievement is which tools are most suitable for the Croatian enterprises. The scope of the paper is to analyze the current state and the potential for implementation of lean methodology in Croatian companies with comparison to the world companies through analysis of collected survey data.
