Sažetak
This paper presents one realisation of the electrical drive propulsion of the boat for tourist purposes. Because of the boat's purpose and the design solutions, the DC electrical drive with chopper based speed control system employing mechanical gearbox is chosen. Power supply is realized from accumulator batteries. Drive wheel with paddles ("Mississippi" system) is used instead of propeller in order to increase attraction for tourists.
