Sažetak
Data on the body height of 1575 men and 1690 women in a sample taken from the adult population of Croatia, Yugoslavia, have been reviewed with regard to sex, age groups, geographical regions, urbanization and profession. An analysis has been made of the phenomenon of some chronic diseases and the total number of diagnoses in connection with the body height of the male and female subjects in the various groups. The significance of genetic, socio-economic and hygiene factors in relation to growth of the human body have been discussed.
