Sažetak
For seismic areas, with frequent and extremely high earthquake amplitudes, it is necessary to perform stress calculation for the evaluation of structure safety. Equipment and its parts have to be functional and manufactured with optimal costs. Based on the calculated values, estimation is performed whether welded joints on equipment parts need any additional prefabrication or heat treatment during and after the welding. Result of such analysis is the saving of material and time for manufacturing. The paper presents calculation and strength verification of steel structure for the foundation of Fuel Gas Block. Fuel Gas Block is extremely important equipment due to explosive media and it must be designed and manufactured to satisfy maximum safety conditions
