Sažetak
This conference is a final dissemination event of all the results obtained during a two‐years scientific and professional work on the development and implementation of new testing methods which should help wood flooring industry to improve the efficiency of their factory production control systems and quality of final products. Within the frames of the project Enhancing EU‐competitiveness of Croatian wood flooring industry we have already organized two seminars, two workshops and three visits to each of 10 industrial associates’ industrial plants. Cooperation with the Technical University Graz and Biotechnical Faculty Ljubljana, the scientific partners at this project is particularly important to obtain the foreseen results. The main goals of the project, namely building the research capacities, improved collaboration with industry, development of new methods for testing the properties of wooden floorings, upgrading the existing factory production control systems, with aim of enhancing the EU competitiveness of Croatian wood flooring industry on the EU market are successfully achieved.
