Sažetak
In this paper are briefly outlined main characteristics of single-page applications (SPA). General architecture is described and compared with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. Performance analysis is done on applications based on SPA architecture. The results are compared against the performance testing results of applications based on MVC architecture. The comparison includes AngularJS and Marionette.js frameworks for SPA, and .NET MVC and Ruby on Rails frameworks for MVC applications. Tested applications are analogical. The paper also includes implementation and architecture details of tested applications, as well as the review of testing tools that were used for performance analysis.
