Sažetak
This master thesis provides a short description of the history of mobile networks and some basic information about the fourth generation mobile networks. Parts of 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) architecture and the basic functions of the various elements in the LTE architecture are described briefly. Also it contains a description of the Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architecture, all basic components of the IMS architecture, ways of communication between these components and also protocols which are used in data exchange: Diameter protocol and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Signalization of the registration, re-registration and de-registration is also described, that is important because the whole process of implementation of the client, i.e. sending requests to the Serving - Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) and receiving messages from the S-CSCF is based on SIP REGISTRATION messages. At the end, the development of the application required for the analysis of traffic load is briefly described. This section also presents the results of testing the S-CSCF component. The S-CSCF component is tested with 3 different tests whose intensity of requests is generated by the exponential distribution.
