Sažetak
The topic of the doctoral thesis is the little known and insufficiently researched architecture of Rijeka's theatres. The paper corroborates the basic scientific hypothesis: the uninterrupted continuity of theatre buildings and stages from the Middle Ages to the present day, and the biggest number of theatre buildings in Croatia.
