Sažetak
This paper deals with analysis of machine elements wear by the lubricant oil quality control based on the analysis of the solid debris particles present in the lubricant oil. Because of interactions between the different kinds of the machine elements wear, the separate monitoring is not possible, thus one of method is the lubricant oil monitoring. The chemical and physical testing, spectrographic analysis, analytical ferrography, magnetic detectors, particle counting and image analysis in the oil monitoring process often must be combined. Depending of numerous operating factors it is necessary to analyse the information pyramid and on these basis set criteria for machine elements wear. In this way it is possible to use statistical analysis to determine wear metal limits on the basis of solid particles found in oil. The intention of this paper is to give a contribution in permanent controls of the machine elements wear operation and in extreme case to prevent an unexpected damage.
