Sažetak
Floods in Central Croatia during autumn 2010 and spring 2013 caused high material damage thus overview form different aspects was needed. In this study extremes of monthly runoff (RO) calculated according to the Palmer method were analyzed. Special cases in 2010 and 2013 were assessed and return periods for monthly runoffs were calculated. Input for calculations were meteorological data (mean monthly air temperatures, monthly precipitation amounts, relative air humidity, mean monthly wind strength) from available meteorological stations in Central Croatia and pedological data on maximum soil capacity. Study revealed that longer period of high runoff created conditions for floods in 2010 and especially 2013.
