Sažetak
Innovative ways and tools for automating web search and visualization of its results will be demonstrated in this workshop. They are the results of the WeSeRV project, aimed at automating common search sequences and combining the search results in an intuitive way revealing connections between, for example, authors, institutions, projects, events and data sources. In scientific, educational and professional work we frequently search for information. Internet and web especially have brought the wealth of data, information and knowledge literally at our fingertips. Usually, we use similar information sources in our search from one topic to another. However, investigating the state of knowledge on any specific topic is usually performed as a sequence of searches in a number of on-line databases and subsequent manual sorting and connecting results, and identifying the most likely source of relevant information. The methods and tools developed in the WeSeRV project are based on the NetGlub application and significantly improve this process.
